1. How can I create new message boards?

To create new message boards, log into your Control Panel and go to the Services / Message Boards / Maintenance page.


2. How can I display my message boards on my website?

To include your message boards on your website, add a URL link (i.e. <a href='UrlToYourMessageBoards'>Message Boards</a>) to a page on your website and set the "href" parameter to the URL of your message boards. To find out the URL of your message boards, log into your Control Panel and go to the Services / Message Board / Options page.


3. How can I change the colors used in my message boards to match my website?

To change the colors used in your message boards to match your website, log into your Control Panel and go to the General / Appearance page.


4. How can I purge old messages?

To purge old messages, log into your Control Panel and go to the Services / Message Boards / Purge page.


5. How can I add an image to the top of my message boards?

To add an image to the top of your message board index, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and enter the URL to your image into the Header Image field.

To add an image to the top of a specific message board, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Maintenance page, edit the particular message board, and enter the URL to your image into the Header Image field.


6. How can I add a URL link to my message boards to link back to my website?

To add a URL link to your message board index, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and enter the URL to link to into the Header Link field.

To add a URL link to a specific message board, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Maintenance page, edit the particular message board, and enter the URL to link to into the Header Link field.


7. How can I change the header and description text at the top of my message boards?

To change the header and description text at the top of your message board index, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and edit the Title and Description fields.

8. How can I specify the names and limits for the ranking system?

To specify the names and limits for the ranking system, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and edit the various Rank X Name and Rank X Minimum fields.


9. How can I set the number of topics to display per page?

To set the number of topics to display per page, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and select the preferred value from the the Entries Per Page drop down list.


10. How can I require users to log in before viewing my message boards?

To require users to log in before they can view your message boards, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check the Login Required box.


11. How can I require users to log in before posting to my message boards?

To require users to log in before they can post to your message boards, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check the Login To Post box.


12. How can I have all posts to my message boards emailed to me?

To have all posts to your message boards emailed to you, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check the Email Posts box.


13. How can I censor profanity in my message boards?

To censor profanity in posts to your message boards, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check the Censor box.


14. How can I specify the default view for messages?

To specify the default view for messages, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check or uncheck the Use Tree View box.


15. How can I allow users to delete threads?

To allow users to delete threads, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check the Delete Threads box.


16. How can I require all messages to be approved before they are visible to my users?

To require all messages to be approved before they are visible to your users, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Message Boards / Options page and check the Require Approval box.


17. How can I designate users to act as moderators for my message boards?

To designate users to act as moderators for your message boards, log into your Control Panel, go to the Users / Maintenance page and edit the user you would like to designate. On the Permissions page of the User Profile, select Moderator for Message Boards.
