Technical SupportFrequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for the Calendar This FAQ is aimed at site administrators to help them configure and use the calendar. For more specific information or general user information, refer to Control Panel Help or Calendar Help.
1. How can I display my calendar on my website?To include your calendar on your website, add a URL link (i.e. <a href='UrlToYourCalendar'>Calendar</a>) to a page on your website and set the "href" parameter to the URL of your calendar. To find out the URL of your calendar, log into your Control Panel and go to the Services / Calendar / Options page. 2. How can I change the colors used in my calendar to match my website?To change the colors used in your calendar to match your website, log into your Control Panel and go to the General / Appearance page. 3. How can I purge old calendar events?To purge old calendar events, log into your Control Panel and go to the Services / Calendar / Purge page. 4. How can I add an image to the top of my calendar?To add an image to the top of your calendar, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Calendar / Options page and enter the URL to your image into the Header Image field. 5. How can I add a URL link to my calendar to link back to my website?To add a URL link to your calendar, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Calendar / Options page and enter the URL to link to into the Header Link field. 6. How can I change the header and description text at the top of my calendar?To change the header and description text at the top of your calendar, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Calendar / Options page and edit the Title and Description fields. 7. How can I require users to log in before viewing my calendar?To require users to log in before they can view your calendar, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Calendar / Options page and check the Login Required box. 8. How can I require users to log in before posting to my calendar?The calendar will always require users to log in and have proper permissions to post events. This is to prevent the calendar from getting cluttered with too many posts by unauthorized users. 9. How can I have all posts to my calendar emailed to me?To have all posts to your calendar emailed to you, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Calendar / Options page and check the Email Posts box. 10. How can I censor profanity in my calendarTo censor profanity in posts to your calendar, log into your Control Panel, go to the Services / Calendar / Options page and check the Censor box. 11. How can I designate users to act as moderators for my calendarTo designate users to act as moderators for your calendar, log into your Control Panel, go to the Users / Maintenance page and edit the user you would like to designate. On the Permissions page of the User Profile, select Moderator for Calendar.
