The Message Board page displays all the current topics sorted in "most recent first" order. To get back to the Message Board Index, click the "category" link on top of the message page.
If Threaded Message Boards is checked in your user profile, the message board topic list will display the subject of replies in a "tree view" below the topic. Otherwise, only root topics will be displayed in a table. The sorting feature described below is only available in the table view.
The buttons that appear on the toolbar vary depending on the permissions you have, the options enabled on this message board, and if you are logged in.

The topic list can be sorted by either Topic, Posted By, or Date. To sort the topic list, click the appropriate column header. The column header that is underlined indicates the current sort order.
If the site administrator requires messages to be approved, messages will not be visible until they have been approved by a moderator. If you are a moderator, all messages (including unapproved messages) will be visible and any message (or topic containing a message) that is awaiting approval will have a red flashing light bulb next to the subject. To approve a message, edit it, check the Approved box, and save it.
This section shows examples of the special status icons that can be associated with a topic.
A subscription form will appear below the message board if the administrator does not require you to log in before posting. If you subscribe to this message board, all posts will be emailed to you. If you have already subscribed and want to unsubscribe, just use this form again and you will be unsubscribed.
