The following is a list of features for the chat rooms.

For administrators:

Specify your own title for the top of the chat room window.
Enter your own description using a custom markup language for the log in page.
Specify a default "Welcome" message for all chat rooms.
Specify if the chat rooms are open to the public or only available for registered users.
Specify if messages should be censored for profanity.
Allow all users to create new rooms or limit that ability to moderators only.
Purge old messages from the chat rooms.

For moderators:

Modify a room's settings, such as the name of the room, the welcome message, the default permissions a user gets when they enter the room, if the room is for moderators only, and if the room is private (invitation only).
Invite users to private rooms.
Send broadcast anouncements to all users in all rooms.
Kick users out of a room or ban them from all chat rooms for a specified number of hours.
Modify a user's permissions in the chat rooms (i.e. don't allow them to post, promote them to moderator, etc.).
Send warning messages to registered users regarding inappropriate activity.
Prevent registered users from logging in for 1 to 7 days due to inappropriate activity.

For users:

Post messages using a custom markup language to do special formating, link to other sites, add emoticons, etc..
View the profile of other registered users.
Send private messages to other users.
Ignore other users so their posts do not display for you.
Registered users can edit their user profiles.
Turn chat refreshing on/off.
Save the contents of the chat to a text file.
Reload the specified number of messages so you can see what was said before you entered the room.
View user profiles for registered users.
Change the color of the text in your posts.
Change your status to "Away From Keyboard" so people will know that you are not currently available.
